The team have been working hard to keep everyone safe at the venue. As such, there are a few measures which are being implemented on your arrival:
- On arrival, please queue up outside the front of the venue remaining socially distant
- A member of the team will meet you outside and as part of our own COVID-secure measures, we will be taking a temperature reading of all students using a non-contact thermometer device. Unfortunately, if students show an abnormal temperature, we won’t be able to admit them into the workshop.
- Due to limitations, only students and staff will be able to access the hall
- Before entering, students will be asked to use anti-bacterial gel to cleanse their hands.
To keep our students and staff safe, we will be asking students to remain socially distant during the class and will be using a floor cone system to encourage this at the beginning of the class. To help our staff, we would really appreciate it if you could remind your son/daughter prior to the class what being socially distant means and why it is important. Students who are over the age of 11 years will be required to wear a mask while entering and moving the building, but they can take these off during the session. We will be operating a one-in-one-out policy for toilet breaks but would ask all students to do this prior to the start of the classes to limit it as much as possible.
Please use the same system to pick-up your son/daughter from the classes; however, please go to the back of the venue for collection. Due to current limitations, we won’t be able to allow parents into the classroom as we usually would but staff will let you know how they all got on outside.
If your son or daughter is showing signs or symptoms for COVID-19, they have tested positive via a test or another family member is currently showing signs or symptoms, please call the office as soon as possible on 01908 086 015 or email firstname.lastname@example.org as they will not be able to attend.
