Joining a drama class or workshop is an exciting time. We are always asked various questions about the activities that we provide and to make it easier, we have put together a list of the most common questions. If you have a question that isn’t related to the below FAQs, give us a call on 01908 086 015 or email [email protected].
Q: Do I have to be good at acting to join?
A: Everyone is good at acting – we’ve been doing it since we were small! We don’t believe in auditioning prospective students or segregating groups based on talent. No matter what level of experience you might have, we’ll have an activity for you.
Q: Do I have to pay a deposit or pay my fees in advance?
A: We’re always striving to make our activities as affordable and accessible as possible; that’s why we give parents the choice of paying for classes monthly. For our one off activities, such as holiday workshops, we will usually ask for the full fees in advance; however, we do have payment plans available (please contact us for more information).
Q: Do you offer refunds for your activities?
A: We do not offer refunds for activities, apart from in exceptional circumstances. We do offer full refunds if you book a workshop with us and cancel more than 48 hours before the start of the event. For weekly classes, we require one month’s written notice for cancellation.
Q: How much does each activity cost?
A: Our prices start at £5.25 per session for weekly drama classes and our holidays workshops cost as little as £15. You can find the full list of fees here.
Q: I can't find a class near me. Can I request a new location?
A: Sure, email [email protected] or give us a call on 01908 086 015
Q: Why is Big Bold Youth so much more affordable compared to other performing arts schools?
A: Each performing arts school offers something different for it’s students. For us, our core values are creating affordable and accessible drama activities for young people, by limiting our spending on marketing and administration costs. We always ensure that each activity has two members of staff who are Enhanced DBS checked and are trained in child protection. Furthermore, our teachers are always first aid trained, ensuring your son or daughter is in safe hands.
